Science and Art

“Scienza e Arte non son distanti. Piuttosto si avvicinano, si sfiorano, si intersecano in tanti ambiti. Possiamo infatti pensare a:
– scienza nell’arte, quando l’arte è ispirata dalla scienza;
– scienza per l’arte, quando l’arte è creata con la scienza;
– arte nella scienza, quanto gli scienziati giocano a far gli artisti;
– arte per la scienza, quando l’arte è impiegata per illustrare la scienza.
In fondo sia l’artista che lo scienziato sono accomunati da una passione simile per il loro lavoro e condividono il medesimo spirito di osservazione
per il mondo che li circonda ed i suoi attori principali, siano questi persone, particelle elementari o batteri.
Lo scopo di questa iniziativa è porre in risalto i punti di contatto, con gallerie di immagini, suoni e video.
L’invito è ad interagire con i nostri contenuti come anche a segnalarne di ulteriori!

“Science and Art are not far away, but they get close, in touch and interplay in various field. Let’s think indeed to:
– science in art, when art is inspired by science;
– science for art, when art is created using science;
– art in science, when scientists play to be artists;
– art for science, when art is employed to illustrate science.
Indeed both the artist and the scientist share a similar passion for their work and the same spirit of observation for the world around them and its main subjects, either people, particles or bacteria.
The aim of this initiative is to emphasize the common points of contact, with galleries of images, sounds and videos.
