L’inquinamento atmosferico rappresenta attualmente uno dei principali problemi della nostra società. Nel corso dell’evento, saranno illustrate le principali caratteristiche e proprietà del particolato atmosferico e le relative tecniche di monitoraggio. Saranno inoltre descritti gli effetti nocivi del particolato sulla salute umana con un particolare focus sulla sua composizione chimica e e sulla sua componente biogenica.
Atmospheric pollution is currently one of the main problems of our society. During the event, the main characteristics and properties of atmospheric aerosol and the related monitoring techniques will be illustrated. The harmful effects of particulate matter on human health will also be described with a particular focus on its chemical composition and its biogenic component.
